10 habits every 20-something should follow to make life better
Life advise from a mid-30 guy
I have turned 36 recently.
The last 10 years since graduating from university have been the years of my life where I have grown the most. Still, I made many mistakes.
Here are 10 lessons I wish someone had told me 10 years ago:
1. Start the day with a walk outside.
According to Dr. Andrew Huberman “what we do in the waking state determines when we fall asleep, how quickly we fall asleep, whether or not we stay asleep, and how we feel when we wake up the next day.”
That’s because sunlight sets our circadian rhythm which will lead to better sleep and wake-up time.
2. Acquire skills (every day)
At the end of the day, nobody will pay you because of some certificate you earned at university.
No! You get paid because of your skillset.
This is also true for careers that require a certificate like being a lawyer or medical doctor. To make a career you must-have skills that set you apart from your peers.
