One of the most interesting things you can do in Midjourney is to create images in the style of a specific artist. For this, you could use painters like Leonardo Da Vinci, photographers like Helmut Newton, or even film directors like Stanley Kubrick. Simply add “in the style of this or this artist” into your prompt and Midjourney will start creating images in the style of that specific artist.
For this showcase, I wanted to see what Midjourney does when I create portraits of Mickey Mouse in the style of the 50 most famous artists of all time.
To make the prompts more comparable, I was always using the same text and only replaced the artist’s name at the beginning of the prompt. This worked for painters and photographers, but with movie directors, I had to change the prompt to “Mickey Mouse as a character in a [Director’s Name] movie” because the original prompt didn’t generate convincing results with directors.
