We live in the age of digital creators.
– The boomers got rich with real estate.
– Generation X with stocks
But as Millennials started graduating from college, they realized that the opportunities their Boomer parents had promised them were mostly mirages.
Indebted by college fees or ridiculously high real estate loans, millennials realized that they were the first generation after 70ü years, who earned less money than their parents. Worse, they were destined to live a life of debt servitude.
This would have been the end. Instead, humans discovered a whole new world in the last 30 years. The world of the digital realm. In the beginning, this world was populated by fringe entrepreneurs. They resembled the Spanish conquistadores who traveled to the Americas 500 years ago as outcasts with the hope of enriching themselves and colonizing the continents in the process. The first digital entrepreneurs were outcasts as well, often bullied at school for being nerds. They started building their empires in the early days of the internet and became the new money elite of the world.
